Our synergy with Vecar, official dealer of the top forklift brands, gives us access to a wide range of logistics equipment, allowing us to offer targeted solutions for specific usage requirements.

Our quick-hire formula (also on a per-day basis) and short-term hire for aerial platforms and forklifts has been specially developed to offer optimum flexibility to SMEs in construction and industrial sectors and to private customers managing systems or maintenance work.

Development of our expertise

Rent’s experience is founded on the expertise of the Vecar group in the forklift and logistics machinery sector. Over the years, it has evolved and specialised to provide an extremely quick and flexible hire service for forklifts and aerial platforms.

Foundation of Vecar

Vecar was founded as OM Pimespo's exclusive dealer for the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of Italy.

FOUNDATION OF RENT SRL

As the Vecar group made excellent progress in the world of industrial logistics and warehousing, taking advantage of the opportunities in this business area, the need arose to maintain a flexible, versatile structure with low overheads to guarantee a high-quality service also for customers operating outside the typical dynamics of medium and large-scale industry or mass retail. This led to the establishment of Rent Srl.

1997

FROM FORKLIFTS TO AERIAL PLATFORMS: RENT BECOMES AN AUTHORISED MAINTENANCE CENTRE

Rent included aerial platforms in its product portfolio with a prompt and high-quality hire and support service.

With its dedicated technical and sales personnel, Rent was able to also meet the needs of the systems-engineering and building and industrial-maintenance sectors, an area of the market that the Vecar group had not previously served. The excellent work of technical personnel was celebrated by aerial-platform manufacturers and, at their request, Rent soon became an authorised service centre.

This allowed Rent to meet not only the support requirements of end users but also other rental companies without a support service of this level.

NEW GROUP BRANCHES IN POLAND, ROMANIA AND SERBIA

Rent and Vecar grow and expand abroad, particularly in Poland, Romania and Serbia, thanks to a stake in the Polish company OMV, the Romanian company Vecar OM Est srl and the opening of a branch in Belgrade.

RENT BECOMES AN AUTHORISED CTE MAINTENANCE CENTRE

The partnership with aerial-platform manufacturer CTE is consolidated. This is a special collaboration aimed at developing a hire package that is completely tailored to the customer’s requirements, calibrated for its specific business area and totally flexible.

NEW HEADQUARTERS IN FIUME VENETO

Relocation to the current new headquarters in via Pontebbana, 42 in Fiume Veneto, Northern Italy.

LARGE INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

Since 2009, Rent has been involved in several large international projects in Qatar, Venezuela and Panama.

NEW GROUP BRANCHES IN HUNGARY AND UKRAINE

Vecar Hungary Kft is founded in 2011 with headquarters in Nyiregyhaza, Hungary and the following year Vecar Ukraine LLC is founded in Ukraine.

BAOLI ADDED TO PRODUCT PORTFOLIO

Rent starts distributing Baoli forklifts, a brand with a significant portion of the “value” market.

RENT BECOMES AUTHORISED MAINTENANCE CENTRE FOR ISOLI AND HAULOTTE

On the basis of its partnerships with Isoli, a company specialised in the design and production of lifting kits for use with any aerial platform, and with Haulotte, a leader in building machinery for lifting people and loads, Rent becomes an authorised service centre for both brands.

PARTNERSHIP WITH KONECRANES

Konecranes forklifts are added to the Rent product portfolio.

NEW INVESTMENTS

Since 2019, Rent has decided to invest in infrastructure and in its hire fleet: 120 aerial platforms, 300 forklifts, an upgraded workshop and a new company-owned truck that allows us to provide an even quicker service and greater customer satisfaction.
